Hi, I'm Merry, the heart and soul behind Cakes & Confections by Merry. My baking journey began 24 years ago, crafting delicious cakes for family and friends. Today, I bring that same passion and love to every treat I create for you.
Our Story
Deep in a cozy woodland hollow, where brambles grow wild and sweetness fills the air, lives a clever little raccoon with an undeniable love for baked treats. Raccoons are curious, resourceful, and always on the hunt for the very best bites — just like us.
At Cakes & Confections by Merry, the raccoon represents playful creativity, a touch of mischief, and an uncompromising passion for flavor. Every cake, cupcake, and confection is crafted with care, imagination, and just a bit of wild charm.
Since the beginning of my journey with baking 24 years ago, I dreamed of owning my own small business. In 2015 we moved from Arizona to the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and in 2021 after a little push from my best friend and sister "Cakes & Confections by Merry" emerged fulfilling that dream!
“Wildly Delicious” isn’t just a slogan — it’s a promise. It means bold flavors, handcrafted details, and desserts that surprise and delight with every bite. From elegant wedding cakes to whimsical woodland treats. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding or just because! Nothing here is ordinary — everything is made to be remembered.
Customer satisfaction is my #1 goal. I take great pride in the work that I do and in the long-term relationships that I've built with my customers. I am dedicated and dependable, my goal is to ensure the greatest level of skill designing unique creations made to order that will put a smile on your face.
